POST: FABRICATION ENGINEER

SALARY: 400 OMR PER MONTH
JOB PROFIL:
- SKILL- Workshop Facility at Sohar, Oman – Structure, Piping, Machining.
- Preferred candidate profile
- Experience : Minimum 5 years (Must have experience in Structure, piping fabrication & erection)
- Qualification : B.E. Mechanical
- Design : Auto Cad – Solid Works – Solid Edge Etc
- Minimum 5 years’ practical experience with fabrication, knowledge on welding, machining, milling and steel grades.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with AutoCAD.
- knowledge of metals and their properties
- knowledge of how to use and care for their equipment
- understanding of safety procedures
- technical skills for drawing and interpreting plans
- welding skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Overall manage of fabrication facility.
- Thorough knowledge and hands on experience of Structure & piping specification, fabrication and erection techniques
- Manage the construction activities
- Develop welding drawings and Weld & NDT lists
- Create cutting and milling drawings
- Prepare step-by-step production plans
- Compile material procurement lists
- Develop manufacturing records books
- Assemble fabrication Databook with material certificates, welding procedures, NDE reports, dimensional control reports, painting reports, etc.
- Able to do weld inspection and aware of welding visual inspection.
- Preparation of inspection report and maintain records.
- Execute the construction works in line with the approved contract schedule and specifications
- Ensure adherence to the project HSE procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance of manuals, procedures, and systems.
- Understanding of Piping & Valve Material Specification with relevant ASTM, API, ASME and other international codes and standards.
LEAVE: 30 PAID LEAVE AFTER COMPLETION OF ONE YEAR
DUTY: 10-12HRS DUTY (OVER TIME NOT APPLICABLE)
