DIPLOMA HOLDER / GRADUATE , REQUIRE 5YRS EXPERIENCE AS DIESEL MECHANIC 1.Diagnoses, repairs and overhauls engines, transmissions, components, electrical and fuel systems, for various powered and rolling equipment such as, cars, tankers, skips and buses and Jetting Machines. Should have experience in MERC/MAN/HINO/ UD diesel trucks Performs tune ups, brake jobs and other preventative maintenance on cars, tankers, skips buses, and other powered rolling equipment; replaces common parts and makes adjustments. Designs, welds, and fabricates steel, aluminum and stainless steel fabricated projects using mig, tig,stick and gas Researches, purchases and inventories equipment parts, chemicals and supplies. 11.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups. 12.Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. 13.Overhaul or replace starters, Engines, Batteries, and pumps. 14.Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems. 15.Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings. 16.Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, and linkages. Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels. .Repair radiator leaks. Repair manual and automatic transmissions. Repair or replace shock absorbers. Align vehicles’ front ends. 22.Rebuild parts such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks. Replace and adjust headlights. 25.Replace Tyres from all small and Heavy vehicles. Replace leaf Springs and Clutch plates for All vehicles – Compulsory 4 Hrs daily. If any emergency work, should work on call basis, Compulsory 4 Hrs daily. If any emergency work, should work on call basis 25-40YRS ONLY
