Experience Required
- Candidates should have 2–5 years of relevant professional experience as a Baker in a bakery, hotel, restaurant, catering company, supermarket, or food-production facility.
- Responsible for preparing, mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake bread, buns, rolls, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
- Prepare and handle dough, including kneading, shaping, proofing, and fermentation.
- Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, and other bakery equipment safely.
- Monitor baking temperatures, baking times, and overall product quality.
- Prepare fillings, creams, icings, toppings, and decorations as required.
- Follow food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety procedures.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
